So freaking cool to own a playing days Ty Cobb.

He’s one of my favorite players ever.

“Cobb: A Terrible Beauty” is a GREAT book. So true on his mischaracterization.

It's a Beaut Clark! What a great card. I totally agree with you about people shying away from vintage cards because they don't know about them. Researching and learning about them is one of my favorite parts of the hobby. Thanks for sharing this beauty!

Took my breath away with this one dude! Love the way you approach the cards you acquire and the depth behind how you see them... I look at these classics the same way! Beautiful card Alex... Congratulations!!!!

Fantastic! Love it Alex! I agree it’s one of his best cards. The E95 cards are paper thin. Tough to find in good condition. I like how these pre-war cards tell a story. Congrats on the pickup.

Wowzers! That card in any grade is an absolutely beautiful card! The color really pops! Congrats! It’s a great feeling to get a card that you’ve been wanting for a long time! I enjoyed your commentary! Thanks for sharing Alex!

That is definitely what a pre-war card should look like, but it is absolutely beautiful. I love your theory on what caused the line on the left. Cobb was no saint for sure, and he definitely got into peoples’ heads back in the day. Folks were scared of him for good reason! Definitely easy to hate on as you said, but there’s a lot to be admired there, too. Cannot wait to see this bad boy in person one day soon! Congrats again my friend!

Spectacular pick up! For its age and condition it's still a stunner.

You're one of the lucky people in the world to own one! I consider myself lucky even just to see one of these, on a video.

Very interesting detective work explaining the back of the card and the condition. It definitely has loads of character! Which makes it even better. ☺

My kinda pick up brother. Wow, congrats I missed out on one of these in a SGC 4 trying to haggle and had someone grab it full price, which tbh was pretty fair. Hard lesson learned. Huge congrats a wonderful piece to have in your collection. It presents absolutely beautifully.

WOW! That’s a beauty, Alex! Such a great image of Cobb set in that deep, rich maroon.
I loved listening to your narrative as well. Congratulations on a collection centrepiece!

Great card!!! Simply amazing. I’ve been looking for this card in particular as opposed to the t206 which has gone crazy. I do own a very scarce Ty Cobb but this one is a stunner. Thank you for sharing

Alex, I absolutely love this card and your depiction of it. I have been looking to pick a E95 Cobb up. There have been a few on eBay, but just not the right ones for me. This card is fantastic!
