I purchased this vinyl deluxe edition direct from Liam Gallagher's website and at the time of writing they are still in stock. I don't think they will be particularly rare going forward as to my knowledge they weren't released in limited numbers but for those interested then I paid $69.99/£49.99.

Overall, got to say, really impressed with this album so it comes thoroughly recommended!

Not got it yet but I have the CD due to be delivered in the next couple of days.  Like what I've heard from the singles so far. Glad I didn't go for the box set though - not enough for the money for me. Marginal though.  Saw Liam on Jools Holland and Graham Norton over the last couple of weeks. Seems to me that the tension between Liam and Noel might be lessening a bit.  Mind you, his tweets this year have suggested otherwise!

I actually think lyrically it's quite strong. He appears to have something to say and it gives the songs more weight. Unlike Noel who hasn't written any lyrics that genuinely touched me in years. The dreamy sound of this record is superb as is the music. I think it sounds fresh and is possibly the best record from a Gallagher since Morning Glory. Vocally it is one of his best performances and very impressive and he seems to have discovered new techniques and delivery's. Paper Crown and I've All I Need should have been singles. When I'm In Need is also a very impressive song. I wasn't expecting too much from this record but I am finding it surprisingly brilliant. It is shimmering pop elegance.

Awesome Alex, I'm not the biggest Oasis fan, but this album is great... really enjoyed listening... surprised myself... maybe I've mellowed out over the years & saying that Chinatown is awesome 🙂 The wife looks at me strangely when playing the album... not what I normally listen to, but like you said there is is a bit of Beatles - Lennon there. Thumbs up 👍👍for me. I downloaded the album from Spotify, but will be getting the vinyl soon. 🙂

Klaus voorman was a friend of the Beatles In hamburg and designed a few of their album covers so I'm guessing as a massive Beatles fan Liam wanted him to do something

Nice packaging, Alex, though it feels a bit wasted on Liam Gallagher. You could have spent the money on a Nick Drake album, or something by Kate Bush. Is it too late for you to return it? ;)
