I'm very curious to know if its Miley herself or the label that continuously makes her records so bland/generic when she obviously has the talent to be producing much grander songs. At this point in her career she shouldn't have to play for the "general audience" she should be taking her artistry to the extremes.

It is genuinely disheartening to see Miley never expand on her amazing vocal talent. Her covers are always far more impressive than her own songs and I don't know why with all the resources she has.

For an album titled Endless Summer Vacation, it severely lacked on the summer vibes and jams, the concept for the album was amazing, execution not so great. It felt more like a Finite Long Weekend

I loved Plastic Hearts so much and thought it didn't get the commercial success it deserved. It pains me that this record will overshadow her last one, solely because of the success of Flowers which is a great song in of itself but the production's stale nature makes me never want to return to it after the hype is gone. If the rest of the record was on par with Flowers, it probably would've been mid at least, but the other tracks don't quite get to the same level of songwriting in my opinion so the whole thing falls flat. Still a Miley fan, just disappointed tbh

Jaded has the bones of a pop punk song. The lyrics could be from a The Story so Far song and I wouldn’t think twice. Real Pop goes Punk material.

Honestly, Miley has such a distinct voice that can lead to great material. It's a shame that she treads in very promising directions, but she just can't deliver in a full album package. Wildcard and You have great showcases for her voice alone.

I am tired of being a fan of these artists' "potential". So many of these pop artists have the talent to produce incredible works but instead constantly release the same SAFE generic soma. Give us something to really FEEL, give us a point of view, take a risk.

I really like watching Anthony's videos so it's depressing when I go to the comments and it's just memes. I gotta admit I was pretty disappointed with this album. I can tell she has real talent but rarely uses it.

It's so frustrating being a Miley fan 😭 she's got the potential to make amazing music but it's like she can't quite push herself to that point! So instead we get decent/pretty good albums that play it so safe that they just don't stand out :/

Maybe she's still doesn't know how she wants to channel her artistry and that's why she just kind of does everything? But can't commit to anything? Idk I think she just needs someone in her studio to push her and give her honest feedback but that's just my unsolicited opinion \_(ツ)_/¯

Miley is genuinely very talented and has a distinct voice and varied sound yet she struggles to put together a full experience. It sucks because she has a lot of songs that are complete gold.
