ME AGAIN. A story of DAO Deficiency.

DAO Deficiency is a metabolic disorder caused by a reduction in the activity of the enzyme Diamine Oxidase (DAO) that prevents the metabolization of histamine from food, which passes into the bloodstream causing gastrointestinal, dermatological, muscular, neurological and respiratory disorders.

"ME AGAIN" is the awareness campaign about DAO Deficiency launched by DR Healthcare to increase public knowledge about this widespread metabolic disorder.

In it, four siblings discover that the different symptoms that affect them: migraine, fibromyalgia, digestive disorders, atopic skin and ADHD (in the son of one of them), may have a common genetic origin in DAO Deficiency.
