BCCI announces equal match fees for men & women cricketers

The BCCI has announced that the match fee for both men and women cricketers (contracted) will be the same.

Cricketers will be paid Rs 15 lakh each for test matches

Rs 6 lakh each will be paid for ODIs

Rs 3 lakh each will be paid for T20I matches

BCCI has not mentioned any changes in annual retainers for men and women players.

This comes days after it was decided that the first season of women’s IPL will be played in 2023.

Earlier this year, the New Zealand cricket team had taken a similar decision.
