Sena 20s EVO Communication System for Skydivers

So many people have asked me about the communication system used in my "Talking Skydives" videos, I thought I would make a little video sharing what I know about the unit. Here I give basic information and installation instructions, but you will still need to read the instruction manual to get all the functionality out of your Sena. I am very happy with the radios, and highly recommend them for skydiving and other sports where communication is key for safety and coordination of your efforts. i personally have the smh5 its a low-profile unit. uses velcro and can attach to the skirt on the G3 and the battery can either be mounted to the back or find a spot inside the helmet

Hi, Brian! Do you still use the same model? Are you able to use it during freefall? (it would be awesome to be able to use it while wingsuiting for example). And how to deal with one radio moving from one helmet to another frequently? (I'm thinking of buying a pair, one for me and the second one for the student or the friend who's flying with me that day). Thank you!

Question for Ya... I'm a skydiver with only 100 jumps so I'm still pretty new to the sport. I purchased the Sena 20s then returned them and purchased the Sena 50s. I like the 50s better especially with the app. But my issue is I loose connection in freefall after about 10-15 seconds or getting separated a few hundred feet with both the 20s and the 50s and under canopy if we're more then a few hundred feet away. We're connected over the Mesh network and I had the 20s connected via Bluetooth and I think Mesh, it was difficult to tell. But I know the 50s are connected vis mesh. Anyway, my question is do you experience the same issue? Is there something I can do to improve the connection? I've been looking for skydivers using the Sena having the same issues and I can't seem to find much. As far as the audio quality, music and everything else it's absolutely amazing! I love it! I'd just really like to dial in the communication side. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I use the 10r very low profile.little to no snag. Stick the Velcro back to the lining on the G3. hasn’t fallen off yet...
