Considering Konami themselves have posted and communicated on social media and their main page MULTIPLE TIMES now and their latest post saying it’s the last event before the banlist and I quote “it could be one last hurrah for these decks before the F&L list changes things up” I’m more hopeful now for a slaughter list 🙏

I'm not really on the train of the modern format just because of how expensive it is, so I have nothing to complain about in terms of what's legal right now. However, I hope they unban the Simorgh Link-3. It's just chaff since Stormwinds was banned and I wouldn't mind being able to play Lyrilusc Tri-Brigade for fun again since it wasn't just a negation board but instead had a lot of fun interactions like bouncing with the Ancient Warriors Link-2 or Ensemblue Robin.

It’s nice to look back at this and say that we are in a good format. Every deck feels fun, nothing feels explosively expensive to get into, everything is interactive and isn’t just 50 negates.

I was chanting my demands for a banlist outside Konami HQ in Vegas yesterday don’t worry they know what needs to happen. Apparently that meant putting me on the ban list too but I’ll make that sacrifice (I joke but I did unironically have a job that took me over to Konami in Vegas yesterday)

They need to completely retool core sets and move to a Standard reset format model. It doesn't even need to rotate. It just needs to flush out the bad and create a framework to build on for the future. Even Vanguard has a standard format.

It's Time for a crucifixion list, and I kinda want to see MBT do a tournament under a theoretical crucifixion list where its massacres most of the meta, and see what remains.

I think people are looking for not so much bans as much as just an immediate exit to this format, because the format itself is just comprised of frustrating decks. FTKs, shifter decks, an extremely powerful engine completely priced out of the average player's grasp, and an emphasis on handtrap wars means the whole thing just sucks lol.

I think the unfortunate truth is that you're looking at like dozens and dozens of bans to try and salvage anything and the odds of Konami trying to pull the game from the brink like that are just nothing
