I live in canada, and you only get 3 chances for the written test and 3 chances for the physical... i wish it was like yours in the US. :( lol I had failed already once, and going to retake soon

How long is the total process now once you sign up for the test? I took mine while in school [years ago] and don't remember. My sister is planning to move out of state and she regrets not taking it back then. Congrats, that's a big step in our careers.

I was licensed in Calif in 2006. Was grandfathered in until I failed to see the 1 email to renew. I was taking care of my mom on hospice and was distracted. But to be licensed in Calif I had to have 500 hours in school and pass the Emblex. When did they stop this requirement?

I will be taking the test this August, I hope I get it on the first try. I don't want to pay them more money. yikes. CAMTC doesn't require us to have this test done, I want it for future work and to feel good about my work.

I failed the test 4 times had such a hard time passing this exam! Hope I can pass next time around!
