Pocho was probably getting feed on a regular basis so he wasn't hungry.

Special techniques: keep his belly full, so he won’t look at you as a whole chicken.

That first one wasn’t even trying and nearly pulled that man in 😂

I think the rhing that people want to forget is that unlike dogs, most wild animals are so instinct driven that sometimes nothing you do for them or throughout their life really matters if you do things that trigger their instincts. In some ways, it makes training certain animals a little predictable (like the professional showing how bumping the gator in the right way can kind of put them off.) But likewise, slipping up and doing those things that trigger their prey drive will have them trying to eat you without a second thought. Don't even get me started on the struggles a professional trainer or animal rescue worker has to deal with if they are caring for an animal going through puberty or going into heat. I remember watching a documentary long time ago about a couple that found an abandoned bear cub and decided to raise it. They described it as a generally sweet thing hit as it started to hit its maturity the nature of their relationship changed so drastically and aggressively that they realized they were no longer equiped to handle it and had to give it to a proper animal rescue. I remember the woman of the couple saying there were times she was certain the bear would have killed her but for her quick reactions all because the developing cub was beginning to assert dominance. So yeah, wild animals stay wild. And we should never forget that.

I like the way he summed it up for you at the end he's an expert and telling you wild animals are wild

They fail to mention that he saved the Crocs life by nursing it back to health from being shot in the head . Nature sometimes appreciate humans help just like how it doesn't eat the plumber bird when they pick it's teeth

Pocho was a very unique situation and very rare. I do believe pocho had emotions for the man that saved him. Like explained in the video, crocodilians are not pets and shouldn't be kept as them. However, Pocho would wait every day for his owner to come swim and play. He also followed him home and would sleep on his lawn. The guy also loved pocho so much that he had two marriages fail because he spent more time with the croc then he did them. Also pocho was moved away from him twice so he wouldnt sleep at his house. Each time he was moved pocho would be there in the yard the morning after just chilling. When pocho died the man couldn't find pocho right away because pocho walked off and hid to die alone. The same man has another croc now name pocho 2 and he's not even close to the same. Thats why i believe pocho was different.

There was a man that had a fully tamed Niall crocodile female, because he jumped on its back and pulled a plastic bag out of its throat, and saved its life when it was still a juvenile, and so it followed him every day when he was fishing and kept other crocs away he would even swim with the crocodile and everything and it never harmed him. Once one day the croc even got sick and they had to call out a vet, and the vet wouldn’t administer the drugs to it so he did it himself and the croc allowed him to do everything, knowing that he was trying to help because they had formed a bond of trust. Trust is the most powerful thing in this world.

Pocho had a bullet lodge in its brain as a young crocodile after a farmer shot it for killing his animals. It then grew into a docile and dependent crocodile because of that bullet affecting its predatory hunting and motor skills.

What they are saying is absolutely true.
They need to be protected and admired from a distance.

I think anyone who can have a connection with any animal is a good human. I do worry about these guys but they choose to do it. Respect.

I think it’s important to note that “Chito” Shedden tried reintroducing Pocho to the wild after Pocho recovered from his injuries but Pocho refused to go back into the wild and wanted to stay with Chito
