Pope's Pit Viper - NOW Tenasserim Pit Viper

This is the second part of our two day trip to Thong Pha Phum National Park (อุทยานแห่งชาติทองผาภูมิ), Kanchanaburi, Thailand. The main purpose of this trip was to look for Pope's pit vipers (งูเขียวหางไหม้ท้องเขียว), which we found after several hours of searching along a stream at the higher altitudes of the park. A full description with species names, and captions on the video will appear tomorrow.

NOTE: Pope's Pit Viper was recently split resulting in the creation of two new species of Trimeresurus species in Thailand. The newly named species featured in this video is now known as the Tenasserim Pit Viper - Trimeresurus tenasserimensis (งูเขียวหางไหม้ท้องเขียวตะนาวศรี)
