Lads, you've nailed a formula. All the mid 30s car guys like me that grew up wanting cars like this and the zafira but can't justify it now can live vicariously through you. I love it

I had a Saab 95 with the same engine. Mine was tuned by a guy called noobtune who is THE Saab tuning guru. Or at least he was at the time. Mine made 280bhp and 400ft/lb and that was a very fast car and very capable. I can only imagine what that corsa is like to drive haha.

On a side note. That Saab engine will outlive that corsa shell! I had a custom cold air induction kit fitted to my 95 that fed the cone filter down behind the fog light which was removed to allow airflow. On my way home from a car show one evening I noticed that my turbo sounded a lot louder but thought nothing of it. I actually quite liked it.
It wasn’t until the car went in for its MOT about 9-10 months later that my mechanic noticed that my cone filter had fallen off and was nowhere to be seen.
I’d effectively been driving my car around through dusty, dirty, wet, muddy roads for nearly a year with no air filter and the thing was still running sweet as a nut!

Peak chav whips, the fact they're both frankensteins creations of basic sheds is the icing on the cake. I'm back in Maccys car park, I'm home.

I rarely comment on YouTube videos, but this is by far the best start for a series. I’d love to see these gone through thoroughly and somewhat restored. Even just a cleaning video would be mega! Nice work boys.

This is by far and away my favourite video from you guys. The Max Power era deserves to be remembered. I totally recommend you guys make a series out of these two where you have to visually modify them with a budget, performance modify them with a budget, and see who can get entered into the most comp spec shows with them and then race them. I legit think you guys have struck gold here.

I have a Toyota starlet ep91 from 1998, bought it brand new and after 27 years and 200.000 km later, it still functions and runs like its new . Old Toyota's are just reliable .

That Corsa is something else. Up to 350bhp on that thing with some decent suspension? Jesus. That’ll be one of the fastest ways to die in the country.

I'm 41, late 90's early 2000's was the peak for the modified car scene. An era where all the cars were different and individual. This brings back some epic memories, thank you😁

So why is this the best car channel on YouTube? Is it the genuinely likeable and knowledgeable hosts? Is it the relatable and attainable car choices? Or, just maybe, is it that little purple bar that scrolls along the bottom..

My mom had a Statlet for years. They are really fun to driven. You can rev the nuts of them, rowing through the gears, and you'll still only be doing 27mph.

Best cars you've ever featured ... And I don't just mean TDC, I'm including the AutoAlex multiverse and all of your previous YT endeavours. Top video

Proper modded cars, big engines in tiny cars are such a hoot.

Ive got a MK3 Astra, still badged up as a 1.6 16v CDX, but its now got a 3.0 V6 from an Omega under the bonnet, mated to a GSI 2000 Cavalier F20 gearbox with lightened flywheel.

Absolutely bloody useless in the wet, but when its dry, always puts a smile on my face, just ridiculous fun to drive.
