Omg that's the first time I've ever seen tri cities a mentioned on a big youtubers platform! I grew up there, and everyone hated it! I thought it qss a pretty offensive mascot and they are now trying to change it. It's been around a long time. My dad went to school there in the 70s and the mascot was different back then. I can't beiliv tri cities is big enough to be mentioned on platforms! When I was a kid it was pretty small and nothing special. Now the trafficking is akin to Seattle and the population reaches almost 200, 000!
I'm not proud of the mascot, but the reason for it I because Hanford is in richland and that's where the Manhattan project was. They have a museum there and everything. Hanford houses are still available with tenants! It's a pretty cool piece of history.
