Create A Spooky Halloween Village from Christmas Village Pieces

My Christmas village was tired and I hated getting it out each year. I transformed some of the pieces into a spooky, haunted Halloween village! It turned out so fun and I love it!

I found found the little Christmas Village pieces at the Goodwill store and I Used black satin spray paint, and then I took metallic to paint with a sponge, paint brush, and a dry brush over everything which really brought out all the highlights! I love your video thank you

Great recycling idea! I've often seen great looking Gothic Christmas buildings/houses and wished they were Halloween items. Not sure I have the ability to transform them as well as you, but I just may try. Thanks for the inspiration.

Use some white or Grey pearlescent paint mixed with a drop or 2 of green glow in the dark paint for a spookier effect

I want to do this with my plastic christmas houses but i would paint my matte. Also, i was thinking that where there is "snow" to put yellowish colored moss. Make it look rundown.

I just did this following your video and I LOVE IT!!! I first painted my houses with a flat black paint and didn't like it and thought I ruined them. I put them away for 2 months, but found black satin paint that I forgot I had and repainted the houses with that. Then dry brushed with a mixture of pearl and light gray. They turned out awesome!!! Thanks for the video!!
