She’s filling in the senate seat temporarily. She still has to run to keep it in 2020. Also quick question: whoever wins gets the whole 6 years as senator right? Or is it that the seat is held until McCain’s term ends in 2022? And then there’s a normal election for a whole 6 year term?

Gov should have appointed someone who had similar values and beliefs of Sen McCain as that is who the people of AZ wanted to represent them in the Senate, not someone who suckles on the teats of the the orange man.
