20 Years of Cafe Mambo - Origins and Early Days

In 2014 the iconic Ibiza sunset bar - Cafe Mambo - celebrated 20 years on the white isle. With their 21st season about to commence, we celebrate the years gone by with a special series featuring unseen and exclusive archive footage, artist interviews and priceless photos.

DJsounds were treated to a rare interview with brothers, Christian and Alan Anadon, who now run Mambo on behalf of their father who founded the infamous bar in 1994.

In this clip the brothers discuss how the bar was born back in the 90s and how it became a hot-spot for DJs almost immediately. Roger Sanchez and Paul Oakenfold tell us what makes Mambo so unique.
