How To Wash RAW WOOL | Sheep Farming For Beginners

If you're new to the world of wool sheep and looking to learn how to wash wool, you came to the right place! Don't be afraid, wool can be very forgiving.

Simple run down:
1. Skirt your fleece carefully. Pull out anything that is not wool, twigs, hay, poop etc.
2. Fill a bucket or tote with HOT water. Add a splash of soap, don't create too many bubbles!
3. Place wool into water, don't agitate too much.
4. Remove wool from water after it has sat for 30-40 minutes and repeat steps 2 and 3 until water finally is clear.
5. Lay wool out thinly to air dry.
