You can also transfer XAVC S video files as long as they are in 1080p. No need to use proxies. The problem is with 4K. If you also need the 4K file, then yes, enabling proxies is the best idea.

I also have transfered 10+ minutes videos without any issues, just waiting a little bit more. It just depends on what you need the videos for and if 1-2 minutes is enough. I haven’t limited myself in this regard, and the camera hasn’t let me down.

Thank you Jason! What you said was "spot on" for what I was looking for. And that's why my RAW-transfer always dropped to my phone as 1616x1080 images. Thats a bummer! And I've now changes the quality parameter on my RX100m5 to RAW+JPEG. Then I can instantly share JPEG (5472x3648) to social media, and have a blast editing RAW on Lightroom later on.
I've also discovered an issue in Android OS (iOS don't have this problem due to no SD-slot) I have a 128GB MicroSD card inserted in my SGS7edge, but Sony PLayMemories Mobile app disconnected Wi-Fi transfer if I set SD-card as storage location. One must choose phone storage for transfer, and later on move the images to SD..

Jason Vong, I believe the app lets you choose to get 2 mega pixels version of your high quality pics from your camera in the settings. That way you can transfer lots of pics at once.

I have transfered 100s of images at once without issues. I once even transfered 200+ photos AND 20+ videos at the same time. It took like 20 minutes but there was no issues at all!

I wouldn’t send one by one 😝

(This was with an iPhone and the A7 III, btw)
