Climate crisis has arrived and is accelerating faster than most scientists expected.
They say the global temperature is going to rise by 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit) in about 10 years and increase by 3C (5.4F) or higher by the end of this century.

Sea levels used to be way higher, there used to be no polar ice caps. The optimal co2 level for plants to grow is between 350 and 550 parts per million, we are currently sitting at 411 parts per million. Are the suggesting we starve the plants? They want to focus on the pollution problem at least that is measurable. Ow and by the way oil usage has gone up 1.5 million barrels per day, so all their virtue signaling isn't working.
