I remember once I forgot to tighten my though axle on my front wheel and ended up riding down a trail with it like that only to get to the bottom and realize it, notting happed but I got lucky I guess

Hi, ive been told before that I shouldn't let water get into ky brakes. This was back when I was still using a bike with hydraulic brakes. Unfortunately tho, that one got stolen and now Im using one with mechanical brakes. Does this apply to this one too?

One time I couldn’t get my derailleur to shift properly, I just decided to go with it because everyone was waiting for me. 2 minutes into the ride my axle fell out and my wheel almost fell off

Yes make sure to tighten the front wheel and the back my front wheel was loose I did ent know the bolt fell out and caught a bit of air front wheel came off and I went over the handle bars and ate shit safe riding!!❤❤❤

I went on my bike the other day for a longer trail ride. As I pulled up and rotated it to lean it against a pillar, I saw something move in my peripheral vision.

To my shock, it was my back wheel, which flew right out of the frame when I rotated the bike. Not only did this damage my disc brakes when the wheel fell onto rocks, but it could have cost me my life if it had come loose while I was riding. I just stood there in complete silence, unable to believe what had happened.

And just simply never checked my quick release screws as I figured it was a good system.

Remember to fasten your bolts, double-check your adjustments, and always wear a helmet.

I hope this doesn’t unlock a new fear for you.
