San Pedro, CA—On Wednesday morning, demolition will begin on the long-vacant San Pedro Courthouse to make way for a County-led effort to build a new mixed-use community including affordable apartments and expansive ground-floor retail space. Supervisor Janice Hahn and developer Genton Cockrum Partners will hold a short press conference immediately before demolition begins to discuss the project.
