I was born in Islington London in 1946 so lived all through these amazing times. A mod through the early sixties then when I reached 21 I got a job as a Bus Driver with London Transport (Dalston Garage) and drove the number 9 and 11 Routes through the City and the West End for many years. Lovely video, brought back many good memories thank you. I live in Kent now and have not been back to London for at least 15 years. I want to remember it how it 😔

My home town, I loved growing up in the fifties and sixties in London, felt safe wherever I went, day or night, what a shame how our country has and is becoming, but at least me and others like me have experienced it beforehand

As a child I often travelled to London with my family from Denmark often two times a year. I remembered it as very nostalgic experiences. Favorite places: Picadilly Circus, Whitechapel and Oxford Street.
