Great video Paul. Comparison videos offer such great insights. Bricks is moving to V2.0 soon and similar videos comparing features of Elementor and Bricks would be appreciated by a lot of people I reckon. GJ.

That side by side comparison was super helpful! Bricks builder indeed would be an interesting tool for new projects (but migrating from Elementor to Bricks may be not so feasible).

Excellent demo mate. It seems that Bricks really is charging full speed ahead to become the powerhouse page builder, especially when it comes to native dynamic data components.

Hi Paul. One of the biggest advantages that Bricks brings to the table is visibility. As soon as you start working with advanced custom fields, it is a feature that you will need to use at some point.
Elementror has stayed behind competition since early 2021 when Oxygen released CSS Grid and never succeeded even coming back close to the competition. I mean even Gutenberg blocks have now visibility conditions.

Hi, what are You using for screen recording and video editing? Quality after zooming so close was nice.

Completely agree. Don’t like dependency of an additional plug-in for modern fundamental dynamic data options, beside the added cost. There some things that Elementor does well, but I am considering switching to Bricks or Breakdance for particular upcoming projects that require the flexibility you outlined. Thanks for another great vid 👍

Any idea how to start over with bricks? And a clean sheet of paper(landing page)

I want to scrap all of elementor traces

How hard would it be to switch a client site from Elementor to Bricks? Would I have to redesign everything like when switching from Divi?

We use dynamic data with JetEngine not ACF. Thank you for your informative video!

At the end Wordpress is a data-based CMS and having ACF (Pro) I appreciate the simpler way Bricks manages the dynamic fields.
Unfortunately there's not a demo version of Bricks to test on a test environment using i.e. Local to test the speed and the server charge (requests and so on...)
But, after using Elementor for years and knowing it bloats a lot the website, I'm really interested in moving to Bricks for future projects.

Speed speed speed. Bricks builder is the performance beast. Great ui and dynamic data are bonuses

Inside of Elementor, I find myself reliant on the Dynamic Data I can get using Gloo for Elementor.

I am very used to Elementor. Letting it go completely for bricks for the sake of dynamic data may not be a good idea for me . But I'm also learning to use Bricks well

Dynamic data in Bricks is superior, and lets not forget the price of Bricks in compare with Elementor

-- but not to mention the Pricing! ....That alone ....You can't beat the Lifetime Unlimited option Bricks has. 👍🤠💰

Bricks vs Cwicly please! 🙃

And which one would you recommend to a solo developer/designer, To create websites for clients so the clients can maintain their websites later on themselves easily without breaking 😔

(Alternatives are also welcome. I have Greenshift plugin in mind :)

I've been using Elementor for a long time. I feel like the dynamic features are too hidden. Elementor's UX is a lot better than before... After watching the video today, I thought the UX on Bricks Builder was fantastic. I'll try it right now.

The way Bricks builder handles Dynamic Data and query loops is the most important reason I switched to Bricks. Tried other builders but just couldn't like the that you build your query in a separate area
