Two of my tracks just got signed a few minutes ago! Was a long process of searching for the right label that would match with my own sounds, but eventually I did it. It's an amazing feeling knowing that something I've created is liked by others too.

I liked your tracks before I knew about this channel, your sound was right up my street, and this channel is the icing on the cake

I’ve never known the best way to get myself signed and haven’t really bothered... this video was everything I needed to move me forward

You are not only a musical talent, you are a great teacher and a genuine help to people who want to learn, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

It’s great to see someone who’s so good at playing the game, also have the time and love for his fans that he goes out of his way to help them in their journey, a true legend!

Respect brother, thankyou and keep it up!

The “your next track will be better” is true! Whenever I finish one, I tend to learn something new or get a spark of inspiration that I instantly want to incorporate into the next one. It’s like a cycle of learning that you can build momentum on!

Man. For being an 82-second video it was stuffed to the gills with practical insight. Thanks for all the great stuff you share with us here! :)

I released an EP back in 2013. The label approached me about it. I did a couple remixes for them the following months, and then I more/less stopped making music in 2014... I still have Ableton and fuck around from time to time making loops, but since the label kind of went defunkt around 2014, I haven't tried anything seriously again. You're channel alone is inspiring me to create again and while getting on a label was never much of a goal for me, this video kind of pushes me to want to try.

Make sure your tracks fit Label's Genre. Most tracks I receive at my label's email are completely unrelated styles. Still I answer every email and politely tell them we do not publish that genre. VERY GOOD TIPS !

You probably have the busiest release schedule in techno right now (seriously, how do you do it???), so this advice is definitely going to be solid.

Thank you for the concise advice. Two questions:
1. Can the tracks you submit already be on Spotify or your own YouTube channel, or do they have to be brand new, never put on any platform before?
2. What should you expect from getting signed? I assume they will obviously publish the music to their label's social, etc., and whatever audience/marketing goes with that- but is there is any connection with other artists for album artwork, individual marketing, mastering services, etc.?

Thank you for the tips! I'm having trouble finding labels that fit my style, but I recently decided to make tracks for a specific label. Hope it works out!
