Rishi Sunak is coming under pressure to order an ethics inquiry after Home Secretary Suella Braverman allegedly asked civil servants to help her deal with a speeding fine without having to reveal her identity.

Later Ms Braverman decided to accept points on her licence and pay a fine.

The Prime Minister is expected to take the matter up with the Home Secretary on his return from the G7 in Japan. Jane Dodge reports.

She’s very quick to nickname peoples as criminals but wants to sneak out of her speeding ticket and be private about it

At this point I am sure we would be better off if government roles were filled with random people like jury duty.

How on earth is she still in office? How many more breaches can anyone tolerate?

She actually asked if a speeding ticket could be added to legitimate expenses! Totally unbelievable!!!

She also enquired if she could claim the fine on expenses, the home secretary is responsible for law, the Tories are criminals

She has already been sacked once for breach of ministerial code.

Now another possible breach by asking civil servants if it could be quashed, made to go away, so it wouldn't increase her insurance.
She also asked if the police driving course could be run one on one and not the usual group course so that the press wouldn't find out.
And to top it all, asked if the fine could be claimed back on expenses!

This absolutely needs investigating. Its breaking the law if she tried to quash it.

No one is above the law.

When Fishi promised 'integrity, professionalism, and accountability' to the nation, he had his fingers crossed behind his back.

how could we trust this government any more?
is that what Sunak calls integrity?
why laws are applied on poor and powerless individuals?
