How to get Indonesian drivers license in Bali. Comprehensive guide 2020

There are many tourist coming to Bali thinking their drivers license it valid!
They are driving illigally and they have to pay fines if they get caught.
There are many expats who thinks it's hard to make a drivers license in Bali!
It's really easy.
But there is no good information online about the procedures!

1. Get your international drivers liscense at home countries but take that, passport and kitas work visa (photocopies of passport and visa) - get a health and psychology report out there and take to the police station in the morning as that’s where the driving tests are done?
2. 21 questions for theory but they give you the answer at first and you check whether the cartoon breaks the rule- if you ask the officer, you’ll have to pay him as a thank you bribe?!
3. Drivers one is a figure 8 and u turn... anywhere to practise first without getting arrested? Or pay for the illegal one first and practise in a quiet area???

Hey mate great video and great info! Id prob take the middle way of hiring an agent or policemen if I can haggle them down a little bit and also bc I wont come with a KITA but a business visa. You think its possible to do that with a business visa? Regarding the driving itself im not worried, I was driving in India, Thailand, the Philippines, etc. without any accidents.

I'm Indonesian... and i think the the Indonesian Motorbike License Test is impossible to complete it with a normal skill. I think it is more like, you're gonna test for professional acrobatic motorbike... what a jokes.. actually it forces you for cheating.

bro, i think you must try make a SIM C on Surabaya, east Java
because their test especially driving i believe 95% people Will fail. and then using illegal way (pay more)
thats happen to 99% my friend use illegal way because no matter how much you try, you Will failed like my friend failed 12x and pay more to get SIM

Very good information mas bro.. Swedish rule said that we Indonesian can used our driver license for a year, but only translated driving license. And unfortunately Indonesian SIM (driving license card) is not translated to English... 😒

I have a question, i really want to get my motorcycle license but in my country they cost a lot of money and they make it as hard as possible, is there a chance i can get my motorcycle license in bali as example and later transfer it to my home town license so i can skip the procedure in my home country?
