Alimos Beach: A Beautiful Day 🌴

The modern seaside atheist suburb of Almos, dominated north by Hymetus mountain range and south by the Saronic sea, welcomes you to experience its beauties and discover its history. It was named after the ancient settlement Alimous. “Als” is the ancient Greek word used initially for a grain of salt and then for the sea, while “Alimos” was the name of the plant “Marsh Samphire”, which was growing abundantly in the area.
