I work in the industrial gas industry and operate centrifugal turbo compressors and our over current protection control loops are labeled as IIC for Amp Indicating Controller. I never knew why we used the I other than the generic, "I is just the symbol for amps" explanation. Thank you for that tidbit! I'll spread the word!

There is no lactose in the stinky cheeses. The bacteria that makes the stinky almost always eat all of the lactose. The stinkier the better lactose reduction.

The sneaky humor in your videos is great man, appreciate a good chuckle with the knowledge.

When explaining the relationship between amps, volts, and ohms, knowing that amps are the intensity of the current actually makes a lot of sense. Great vid!

Intensity that makes sense now. Thanks

There wasn't too bad... I'm just glad to have the information and the attempt. It was enjoyable to watch in the listen to.

That makes so much more sense!
I always thought it was because A was taken.

Amperage = intensity
Voltage = potential

And it's why electrical engineers write complex numbers as x+jy instead of the x+iy form favoured by mathematicians and scientists. And the "j", which is equal to √(-1), cannot be confused with current density, as that's a capital "J".

Voltage = electromotive force (E)
Current = intensity of current (I)

Being from Michigan where we have a large number of lakes. We also have dams for water power. The Yates Cider mill is a working water powered mill. Near our cottage near Big Rapids we have the Roger’s Dam and Hardy Dam on the Muskegon river. Consumers Power built a number of electric power dams that supply us clean power. I was very lucky to visit some water turbines removed from the dams. Sediment and mud cause a river, lake and dam to be unstable. Enjoy you videos

Should have just left it at lactose intolerant 😅 the non sequitur was hilarious

I HAVE ALWAYS WONDERED! This is so interesting

Amps = Intensity of current. I really like that, given that more amps really is intense if you taste it.

I like your trivia that other youtubers fail to put in their videos.

Better than me! I can’t get the pronunciation right, with or without cheese!

Intensity sounds so much better. Can we switch back
