Horston (AKA Horsley) Castle in Derbyshire

Had some great nights up there, as teens, when me and my mates first got motorbikes. We'd pile up to the castle on the bikes and build a fire under the ruins of the castle wall next to a large rock. There, we'd cook, ' or rather burn' beans, potatoes, soup etc on the fire and drink far too much. before we dropped to sleep by the fire. No tents, just sleeping bags. I guess we got pretty lucky with the rain. Just good, clean 70s/80s lads' fun.
