Not many other ways to chart that intro that I could think of. Technically the lower notes are hammer ons, and the higher notes are capo'd, and they hadn't used open notes for guitar until Guitar Hero Live so they couldn't go with that either.

I know everyone else is crazed about that vibro strumming, I'm more surprised about seeing LN in guitar hero! (For those who don't know what I mean, It's where parts of a song are more comprised of Long notes instead of regular notes, and as shown in this song they're usually never on the same beat and can be sort of confusing to read as a beginner.)
