The thumbnail was enough, thank you. Needed someone to confirm my suspection that the placement of the multiplying number mattered. Wish our teacher would teach these kinds of things and not force us to Google 'em.

Can that 2 be replace by any constant. Making it det(ka) = k^n * det(a)

PHYSICS PLEASE A car and a truck have a head-on collision and lock bumpers. The car was traveling east at 110 km/h and the truck, which had a mass twice that of the car, was traveling west at 40 km/h. What was the speed (to 0.01 km/h) of the two vehicles after the collision?
