I have a EX90 on order here in Norway, and i testdrove the Polestar 3 Performance in high hopes that it was going to be amazing. First of all, the car drove great, good performance and amazing brakes. I think there was quit a bit of roadnoice in the cabin, and the suspension was on the firm side, even in the softest settings. After 30 minutes of driving all the screens went black, the only thing that was working whas the HUD. I could drive the car but there was no way to reset it. I really hope Volvo and Polestar can sort ut the SW issues.

Good god - that steering wheel setup at 12:13 should be illegal. WHY did they do away with traditional buttons for the WHEEL? What were they thinking?

I have driven the new Porsche Macan EV and the Polestar 3 and to be honest i will order the Polestar 3. Porsche felt "meh" while Polestar 3 impressed me. I have a launch edition 2021 Polestar 2 Performance and i have put 150 000km since delivery on it and still runs very good. Happy with the brand.

@autogefuehl, Thomas. Soft-close seems to work after 3 seconds. The times it didn't work, you pushed it again before that time limit, I think.

The sound at 5:52 is the car reminding you that someone or something is still inside when locking. It’s meant for children and pets and can be turned off under “Occupant locking”, until they tune it to not react to bags😂.

Test drove it. Excellent build quality, drive handling seems nice, audio is top notch. But SW seems very unstable, display went black for 30 min drive which felt unsafe. Will wait for an year to see the sw status and hopefully price will go down 👌

The dash car speed odometer being slanted more on one side than the other would drive me nuts, lol. I wonder if that's something wrong with this particular car or if they all suffer from the same...

Inconsistent build quality, wonky parts, temperamental soft close, yup sounds about right for built in America 😅

Nice job. Except I would not try to test top speed on any vehicle in the rain. Unless you're certain that the roads have proper drainage, any extended puddle and you're done. The wet roads will also drastically increase road and cabin noise from all the sloshing water.

Tell Leah that perfect gift for you is laser measuring device. Makes your life easier. I didn’t get it but Bowers &Wilkins there should be some sort of noise cancelling function, was it used. As you said high noise at Autobahn speeds is not problem for other countries and lMO that also “soft” way to steer drivers to use lower and less consuming speeds. 👍🏻😎

How hard is it to do soft closing? My dad's early 90s Mercedes W140 S class already had soft closing door.
