I honestly don’t even know why people hate fursonas, or as they say “furrys” so much. Thank you for making this video though! I originally didn’t know what a furry was, I thought it was just crazy people who thought they were animals and acted like them 😅 but now my friend is one and I think they’re cool. Many furry conventions and events have raised money for charity, and the furry community has come together to support individuals in need. The acceptance and inclusivity of the furry community can also provide a safe space for individuals who may feel marginalized or isolated in other areas of their life.

Something I have learned personally, a lot of people I know HATE furries. And they constantly say "it's cheap a boring" and such, fursuits are worth 1k+ usually from what I've learned. It's chaos.

I really appreciate that you used the term 'idealised'. I always get hung up on should it be more accurate or more just what I want - but you're totally right! It's an animal persona of you and there is no reason why it can't be whatever you want! I always like cute herbivore animals but think that they wouldn't fit me because I love eating meat, but it is actually a bit stupid of me because there is no way everyone whose fursona is a herbivore is a vegetarian 😂 Thanks x that has helped a bunch

It makes me happy when I see furry creators mention you don't need a sona to be in the fandom. I've been a furry for 10+ years, and have struggled with designing a fursona the entire time. At this point idk if I'll ever have one lol, but such is life 😅
