Modulating Synths with Dynamic, MIDI-triggered LFO Patterns

In this video, I walk you through the process of setting up a specialized LFO modulation device for your synths. Unlike the stock LFO options in most software synthesizers, this technique will allow you to set up a modulation pattern that shifts dynamically with the "swing" or "groove" of your beats. So, if you decide to crank up the groove amount, you won't be left having to re-warp your samples or re-node your clip envelopes. Because this LFO is designed specifically to wobble when it receives the instruction to do so, all you have to do is make sure you apply the same groove to the trigger sound that you applied to everything else in the track.

Please feel free to hit me up on Facebook or Twitter if you have trouble getting this to work.

I'm sure you know this by now since this was posted in 2012...but in case others end up watching this you can do this in lfo tool from Steve Dudas Xfer Records. It has a swing feature and you can increase or decrease it...you can draw in you curve the exact way you want it to be...and you can trigger it to cycle via midi notes...completely customizable and extremely easy to use.
