I wanted to share some insights into the real life of a full-time musician. It's definitely a wild rollercoaster but one worth riding. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. Hopefully this video inspires you to keep creating and keep pushing to live that dream.

Being self employed in music with those high costs of living is an equation that is so hard to maintain. No matter how high and often the invoices are written, it is never enough to get a rest, being chased by the bills. It could work out living at a place with low costs of living....but then you don't have the proximity needed for many projects. A 20 hour part time job with fair pay (or a UBI) could at least cover the basics, but most employers want their staff 45-60 hours...then most productive life time is rented out to a company. It's a tough time to be a self employed musician and the US is a place where the 0.001% have the best opportunities, but for everyone else it's extremely hard to keep your head over water and have an OK living standard. I wish you all the best, good luck and also some time to rest!
