7x All-Star, 2x Gold Glove & Silver Slugger. Franchise leader in hits, RBIs, runs scored, total bases, extra-base hits, doubles and walks. The game misses you Captain America. We all miss the game. Great game

The greatest Met. Say what you will about Seaver, Strawberry, Piazza. Wright spent his entire career with the Mets and won a pennant along the way

As a probably 11 year old ish kid back then, I cried my eyes out in his last game, watching the TV at home. I remember the world series home run that he hit when I was probably in fourth grade, I still cry watching this back, its crazy how nothing else can make me cry except this.

I never got to watch the game when it happened. Couldn't attend, channel wasn't supported, and streams did not work.
