Bolian is right! I've driven all my past Ferraris (only 4) in the past as much as I could, I've never had a breakdown and remember you're not going to live for ever and you won't be taking the car with you to the other side! Super car worshippers and collectors are akin to being married to their fantasy dream girls and not consummating the relation! They're idiots IMHO. Drive your cars!

I understand what hwe means. I have a real '65 Shelby Cobra and I love to drive it. The feel, the sound, the power, so visceral. I have friends who think it's a showoff thing but they don't understand people like me with oil in their veins. There's nothing like being with a dozen Cobras on a day long road trip all pushing the limits.

I had the mindset of hating every road-caused imperfection for a while. But the "imperfections because you love driving it" and "it's just unacoidable if you drive it" mindset is the right one to have. Makes it a lot less stressful. Sure fix the little cosmetic damages if you're able to.

If it's a special reason (like the custom paint mentioned) sure wrap it. But $5, 000 also gets you a really nice, big TV that you can watch everyday.

Also the comment about rock chips and the Boston owner hit home at lot 😂 Can definitely confirm.

Absolutely mint cars are a bit pointless unless it something truly rare and even then it makes no sense. Cars are built to be driven, that's literally their only reason to exist. Ed is right!
