0:41 I had been asked to cover the best before date with a reduction sticker so that the customers would not see it expired and "Hope for the best", I waited until my manager left and threw the product out. “I was scolded for it.” What the f***ing hell!?That person who scolded her should be fired if he or she isn’t already…putting profit over health is NOT OK

This must be a Canadian thing. I've worked at 5 different stores in multiple departments and was never told to do anything close to what's done in these vids. The only chain I think would do something like that down here is Walmart.

This is one of the reasons I no longer eat meat, and why I grow many of my own vegetables or buy at local farms. Can't trust the big commercial system.

The overproduction of food is what is driving the massive food waste in all supermarkets. Our obsession with food aesthetics is an overlooked problem. I work at a grocery store: The amount of foods that is wasted, and the critical nature of clients (regarding food aesthetics) never cease to shock me...

As a teenager I worked in a small market. When the chicken’s were on the rotisserie too long we were told to wipe them down with Vinegar and put them back on the spit people licked the meat right off the bones like Democrat Pages.

Well, we'd better throw away more food then. Stick with what we know.

I worked at Burger King it was common practice to tear up all the old hamburgers at the end of the day and put it in the chili.
