Twin-cylinder 500cc SYM super scooter launched in Malaysia

On Tuesday, Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd introduced Maxsym
TL 500, the latest model in Malaysia's scooter segment today.

The new Maxsym TL 500 sells for RM35,888 and is available in Matt Black, Matt Blue and Grey, from all SYM distributors throughout Malaysia.

The company says the Maxsym TL 500 is the first "chain scooter" manufactured by it. This model comes with four LED headlamps, "a very attractive" digital meter system, twin mufflers that resemble a "honeycomb shape beehive"(!), a 12.5-litre petrol tank and a TFT "auto dimmer" system, among others.

The scooter has a twin-cylinder engine that produces maximum power of up to 40.2hp at 6,750rpm and maximum torque of 42.5Nm at 6,250rpm.

In terms of safety, the scooter comes with two 275mm discs in front and 275mm single disc at the back. ABS comes as standard.
