An eight-mile wall of prehistoric rock art featuring animals and humans has been discovered in the Amazon rainforest. This rare collection of Ice Age Colombian art was uncovered on remote cliffs of Colombia in 2019. The discovery was made by a British-Colombian team and funded by the European Research Council. The paintings were probably made around 11,800 to 12,600 years ago.

Richard Evans Shultes, the father of Ethnobotany explored and documented this giant wall of rock art in the 1940's. It is unfortunate he has lost credit these days

This is why it's always important to sign your artwork

I have visited multiple rock art sites. The prehistoric paintings in all these rock shelters I have seen have generally faded with time. But a few of these ones in here are so bright and barely show any sign of getting faded. Strange enough.

could be interesting to take some of the elders in tribes around and showing them this. They may know how to interprete some of these signs or put them in context. i know 12000y is a hell of long time. but the modern tribes may have some cultural connection still alive and they may be familiar with some of these pictograms.

Pre-historic in S. America just means before the Spanish conquistadors came?

The Siberians migrated because the earth flipped 90 degrees. Like its going to do again in the next 30 years. It happens every 12, 000 years due to magnetic excursion.
