A Syrian man who fled his home after IS took over has met with Hollywood actor and director Stanley Tucci.

Ayham Ahmad grew up in country, studying music, in a suburb of Damascus called Yarmouk.

His piano was blasted to bits in the early years of the Syrian civil war, as so many parts of the country were.

But between bombardments, Ayham would pull a piano out into the streets and play; to lift his own spirits and those of people around him - and to offer something of beauty in a town bereft of anything approaching it. He then escaped to Germany where he is now feted and revered.
