I had an 07 Camry that did this, I assumed it was the motor protection circuit killing power to the window when the button was held for too long. But I never confirmed that, it could just as easily be a lock feature.

Bro that’s safety for the exact reason for what you just did, to not burning the window regulator because you holding down the button for too long after the window reaches it position.

On my way to Santa Monica pier my window wouldn't go up . I was looking at replacement motors stressing out. I did this an it actually worked lol. Thank you I didn't believe it at first but it worked

The 2013 model SV have that similar feature to make the windows one touch up and one touch down.. It kinda through me for a loop a little bit, it works though 🤙

Nice trick my man! So a question for you, did they do away with the roll the windows down via holding down the unlock button of the key fob? I know that it was a long time feature of prior generations of Altima. I tried to do it on mine, it don't it.
