Quick correction folks: not every GLA is equipped with all-wheel drive as standard! The GLA 200 d is offered with a choice of front and all-wheel drive. Needless to say I'll be going to bed without my dinner tonight.

Drove it today. Looks great from outside, but you feel stuffy inside. No visibility on the rear or sides.

Really cool car with a great off-road skills and enough space for even 6.3 man on the rear. One of the best 2.0 litre turbocharged engine. Thanks for review!

It amazes me how many models this company put out all at once. Just here in Canada on the Mercedes site there are no less than... 25 different models (each with their own options), plus two hybrids. I wonder how many engineering departments they have, to put out such production, not to mention the manufacturing facilities ?

How reliable is this car? In terms of upkeep and maintenance. My 2008 XC90 has been giving me endless trouble lately, and im really considering this car, but I don't want to get stuck with another garage queen.

I can't get over the iPad 1st gen look of the dash unit. Tragic design flaw afflicting that entire generation of Mercedes.

Isn't Mercedes bringing refreshed GLA to Detroit? So this review will be out of date in literally 2 days! (I mean it will still be a 2017 GLA review because Mercedes will probably sell redesigned car as 2018 GLA.)

We really need info on reliability and how good the dealer network might treat you in the event of a problem (Mercedes score VERY low in that regard), which should be a big factor in how good the car scores as compared to its rivals. Thanks – great review otherwise ;-)

the rear seats fold totally flat!!!
unless you camera angle was off, the 'flat' rear seats have a slope you could use a set of ski's on.
