I get how this can apply in a benign social situation like in the video example, but what about more serious or extreme situations? If for example "Bob" was a drunk driver who killed your entire family by crashing his car into them as they're walking on the sidewalk, it seems like it would make no sense at all to say "I am upset at myself because I killed my entire family" because you obviously didn't, Bob was the one who rammed into them while driving drunk not you.

People who feel bad about themselves often try to bring others down to feel bigger themselves. That is not fair – and you don't have to accept it. You deserve respect, love, and safety. And you should take that seriously. Feelings are not a weakness – they are a compass. If something feels wrong, then listen to that. You are allowed to seek help. You are allowed to say 'no.' I just wanted to share this, maybe i can help someone. My elder sister and brother abused me, the same situation was at school. So many years passed since then and i somehow managed to supress and forgot about what happened but i realised that by just forgetting it, it doesn't heal me and the blocks will still be there ( i really couldn't remember what happened, that exercise brought memories to the surface). i had so many fear, abandonement, self love and many other issues, that exercise brought all the memories and what happened, definitely recommend to check that out. But it requires time to understand that exercise, especially 3rd and 4th step were confusing at the beginning. Also the frequency and dedication is important usually to heal even a ONE issue you have to do that many many times at one go until you fully feel relieved and satisfied. Sometimes you can heal something and it will brought another related issue from your past. Why it is important to heal those things because people may switch but all of them will do the same thing to you until you heal that part of yourself. Even if you take another person and put it instead of your twin you will experience the same behavior until you heal yourself.

Back on the 15th after a really easy going convo, my twin pretty much completely started ignoring me, so it was sort of confusing & bothering me why he dropped off. A part of me knew to leave it alone but this nagging anxious feeling would keep creeping up: So I did the mirror exercise this morning in the shower about it & I have since felt less worried about it because FACTS, I’ve been ignoring my Self in some ways & he’s just mirroring that back like “hey, this needs to be addressed”.

How can this be used for an upset that is not from a person, but from a situation? Like being stressed from not liking your job etc.?

as unaware df I couldnt do this because I didnt know about my twin - but what did lead me to self-love was "neither/neither" - the twin responds differently to everyone else and made me think, how come I can control this person and nobody else by using ego negation? why does this lead to synchronies and harmonies without end? but I was lead blindfold into the union.

If feeling rejected, it’s the universes way of saying they are not aligned to your path, and the rejection saves you much greater pain down the path which could crush you. Accept the small pain as a taste of what could be the devastating pain in the future and d you think wow- just dodged a bullet. Phew.

What if you are already upset with yourself, do you change the nouns and pronouns to point to others? I wake up frustrated and upset out of nowhere and it’s difficult to point out why, today I think it’s because I went to sleep early and didn’t clean so now I have a chance to clean this morning but I’m still starting off upset ?! I will meditate first maybe
