I'm shocked that fewer have been leveled at Amazon. Allegedly, The company, under the guise of an acquisition, would steal other company's ideas and make them themselves instead of actually acquire them

VAT tax to pay for Basic Universal Income $1000 per month. no strings. Good for economy, good for workers, good for big business, good for democracy.

No way. Facebook is the largest unregulated newspaper in the world, Google is the largest and most sophisticated search engine, Amazon has a monopoly on e-commerce, warehousing, and distribution, and Apple shares a duopoly with several lesser cell phone mfger.

As a consumer, I personally feel well served by the aforementioned monopolies and wish to have fewer choices in the near future.
