HMS Portland was part of the task group alongside HMS Prince of Wales as part of the UK’s carrier strike group during Nato Exercise Steadfast Defender 24.

It's all very nice, but unfortunately performative. Modern nuclear and diesel-electric submarines are undetectable when submerged. One such submarine will take out an entire Carrier Task Force without being discovered.
