MOSFET common-gate amplifier gain, input resistance, and output resistance. This is one of the three core single-transistor amplifier configurations, and critical in understanding modern amplifiers.

Just a confusion will not the drain or the output be grounded as if not then Itest will not be equal to gmvgs but will be kcled with Rd.
