The 2022 iPad Air (5th Generation) with the M1 Apple Silicon Chip was released! In this video, we take a closer look at the new iPad Air and I share my thoughts and my short-term review of this new iPad. This year's iPad Air brings us three distinct new features in a new front-facing camera experience (1080p/Center Stage), a 5G cellular support, and a faster USB-C interface, which is two times faster than the transfer speeds we saw on last year's model. So with that said, are these smaller updates, not to mention the M1 chip, worth the upgrade?

Yo bro it looks like you’re sitting in the dark. I thought my brightness was down for some reason. Video is super dim.

Great video though.

Will you upload the developer beta profiles for iOS 16 tomorrow? I am not a member and would like to use the beta.

mmWave is as good as finished, niche at best; carriers are moving on to better 5G bands. mmWave will be mainly for stadiums, indoors and city centres due to their line of sight needs and being unable to pass through walls. Apple never had mmWave support in most of the world and I suspect other OEMs will ditch this as well. As for importance, def not.

As for why buy the Air -v- Pro, has that not always been the question, why not pay $200 more? The answer as it ever was, it is what you can afford and whether you need the extras! That question seems moot for me...and def not "a problem"!

Its all great getting the iPad Pro now but when it becomes obsolete in Q3-Q4 you will be regretting the decision
