I would like to see some stats on what he said about gun free zones having more violent crime than a gun free zone. How about we start acting like a civilized society and make out decisions based on the best facts we have available and not based on what some random person's opion and agenda are. I'm tired of people firing off at the mouth without providing any evidence.

FYI Texas State Fairgrounds are public property…
The ban is breaking the law!
Texas Government Code § 411.209(a) states that “. . . a political subdivision of the state may not take any action, including an action consisting of the provision of notice by communication described by Section 30.06 or 30.07, Penal Code, that states or implies that a license holder who is carrying a handgun under the authority of this subchapter is prohibited from entering or remaining on a premises or other place owned or leased by the governmental entity unless license
holders are prohibited from carrying a handgun on the premises or other place by Section 46.03, Penal Code, or other law.”

Drop the ban or get sued and lose in court. It’s your choice, Dallas. But you’re just going to spend a bunch of money and still lose.

Can I sue Paxton for millions if I got shot by a stray bullet from some angry drunk?
Isn’t the fact that we have trained police officers at every corner

Yeah because it's so smart to sue them for banning guns because of all the shootings 🤦‍♂️

For those not from that area, the State Fair is right in the middle of the largest black community in the Dallas proper. Even when I last went there 25 years ago, you regularly saw groups of young black males roaming the grounds. Attacks and fights were common occurrences and you rarely saw a cop, except in certain places that the groups avoided. Mostly cops were clustered around the lost kid tent or the first aid tent and the gangs avoided those places for obvious reasons.

If you don’t like guns in Texas, maybe it’s time you leave Texas, as 1 in 3 Texans own guns, and there are over 67 millions guns for 27 million Texans… Texas is a gun state. Period.
