All of them have been used in Tom and Jerry, which makes it so nostalgic for me. How wonderful.

One of the reasons these were used is that they weren't under any copyright so they were free to use. That is why a lot of shows used classical music like Bach.

I like how the the pianist stares blankly, yet intently and directly into the camera...
It's as if at any second he's going to show his true nature and bludgeon the flautist and he's just letting the audience know it's coming.

This was the soundtrack to our childhood shows. Like, Tom and Jerry had no business having this level of music behind it.

Thank you both for this performance. The gentleman who played the piano was hilarious, so serious, and a great talent.. It added much to the performance of the flute. The gentleman who played the flute was an incredible talent. But the two of you together was so perfect. Thank you for sharing

The fact that they are staring at us and not even blinking while performing is weirdly interesting.

Plottwist, when he is looking at the piano it‘s not because he needs to find the keys, it‘s because he needs to blink

“Colonel Bogey March” we know as “The Bridge on the River Kwai” song. Great flautist and I love the serious intensity of the piano player. Thanks for putting this out!

1:00 I like how he stares into my soul as if I told him he'd never make it as a professional pianist.

One good example of a song you hear all the time in old Looney Tunes cartoons but probably never knew the title was the one they used all the time to depict any kind of machinery in motion (i.e., factory settings). It was called Powerhouse, originally composed by Raymond Scott and adapted by Carl Stalling for Looney Tunes.

They are both phenomenal musicians! The deadpan pianist and that BRILLIANT flautist!
