In Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 Mommy Long Legs sends the player through a variety of games in Playtime Co. Whack a Wuggy is a game where the player must use the GrabPack and play whack a mole with tons of Huggy Wuggy. But how does this game work? What can't the player see off camera and out of bounds? Simple game making. None of the Huggys physically jump out to attack you, the game just spawns an animated model of a Huggy of the right color on top of you when the time runs out for one of the pipes.

All three games are scary and its hard to compare them, but the third one, the Statues are the one that gave me shivers the moment it started. Cause of the song, the darkness, the time limit and the monster caterpillar chasing after us. If it wasnt for that bug that kinda makes us stuck and go through stones, that part would be 10/10 for sure! Im pretty sure those bugs will be fixed in no time but yea all three games are definetly scary af

The thing I kept dying to was it being too dark to see the highest holes very well. I had to crank up the brightness to max and I still died a few times after that because it gets really overwhelming when a bunch start coming out all at the same time.

Yep, as others have said, there's not necessarily a complex answer when it comes to how/ why the minigame works that way. Simplest answer as to why you still get jumpscared even when nowhere near the minigame room would be 'if' coding statements, specifically if-then and if-and statements.

If [player] passes [huggy wuggy minigame] trigger, then [begin mommy longlegs cutscene] (and begin minigame after ____ seconds (however long said cutscene is).
If [huggy wuggy minigame] has begun, activate [random huggy wuggy 1-16's AI code]. If [huggy wuggy 1-16] is active for ____ seconds without being deactivated (by the player), then [teleport huggy wuggy 1-16's model] to [player] for [jumpscare and death].

Because that's the supposed game logic, activating the room and then leaving it doesn't do anything to prevent a jumpscare from teleporting to wherever you are (unless you were somehow able to unload that section of the game entirely).

I noticed something Every toy that hunts you down has pitch black puples and the cutscene where mommy long legs goes insane her eye color changes from green to pitch black what if it has a deeper meaning you should look in to this

Those "wacky wuggies"
Are not as tall as the real huggy
Unlike the real huggy they dont have sharp teeth too
So I think they're like mini copies of the real huggy wuggy
